By using Builtingh, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.

Agreement

By accessing or using Builtingh, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

The service

Builtingh is a curated platform showcasing Ghanaian technology projects, applications, websites, digital art, and creative content. We provide a space for creators to share their work and for visitors to discover innovative projects from Ghana.

Your account

Google Sign-In.

You create an account by signing in with Google. We receive only your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID, and use them as described in our Privacy Policy. By signing in you also agree to Google’s own terms, and confirm you are at least 13 years old.

Access

  • Anyone can browse Builtingh without an account
  • New accounts can upvote, save, follow and comment straight away
  • Creators can publish projects straight away
  • Other members’ projects are reviewed before they go live
  • We may limit, suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep the Google account you sign in with secure
  • Do not share your account with others
  • Report any unauthorised access promptly
  • Take responsibility for all activity under your account

Your content

Ownership.

You keep all rights to the content you submit. By publishing it, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and share it on Builtingh, and in posts that promote it, until you remove it or delete your account.

All submitted content must

  • Be your original work or properly licensed
  • Be relevant to tech, creativity, or innovation
  • Not infringe on any third-party rights
  • Not contain malware or harmful code
  • Not violate any applicable laws
  • Not be misleading or deceptive

Prohibited content

  • Hate speech
  • Explicit content
  • Violence
  • Spam
  • Impersonation
  • IP violations

Moderation.

Projects from verified creators go live when published; other submissions are reviewed first. We review published work and may reject or take down anything that breaks these Terms, feature work we think stands out, and suspend accounts that repeatedly break these standards. You can fix and resubmit work that’s taken down.

Privacy

How we collect, use and protect your information, including the data we receive from Google Sign-In, is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use bots or scrapers without written permission
  • Attempt unauthorised access to any part of the platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt platform operation
  • Reverse engineer any part of the codebase
  • Collect user data without explicit consent
  • Manipulate metrics, views, or likes artificially
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
  • Use the platform for any illegal purpose

Intellectual property

Platform.

The platform, its design, code, logo, and original content are owned by Builtingh and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your content.

You retain ownership of your submitted content. We may use it for promotional purposes with proper attribution.

Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of content, security of transmission, or availability at any time. We are not responsible for user-submitted content or any external links.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Builtingh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities — resulting from use of the platform, user content, unauthorised access, or third-party services.

Termination

By you.

You may delete your account at any time in Settings. This deletes your profile, projects and uploads and revokes Builtingh’s access to your Google account.

By us.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, illegal activity, or at our discretion.

Changes & law

Changes.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
